YOUTH PROGRAMS

AGES 5-12

BEGIN YOUR VOLLEYBALL JOURNEY

MOD’s Youth Programs introduce athletes to volleyball through progressive tiers of training, building fundamental skills, confidence, teamwork, and communication. Each level prepares athletes for the next step toward club volleyball in a fun, age-appropriate environment.

At this time, the following tiers are available within our Youth Program:

  • MOD Minis (K-4th Grade) | Designed for kids that are new to the sport, MOD Minis serves as our base level of physical training and athlete education. Participants will explore each of the core skills, learn the rules of the game, and focus on developing the strength, coordination, and communication skills required for cohesive team play. Typical session length is 1-2 months.

  • Coed Team Training (3rd & 4th Grade) | Built for those that have worked through the basics but are not quite ready for the rigors of a complete club season, you can think of this program as “level two” of MOD’s introductory training. Practice time will be split between technical training and competitive play, providing a high repetition, fast-paced learning environment for our athletes to further hone their skills. Typical session length is 1-2 months. Note: Athletes must complete at least 1 series of MOD Minis training before they are eligible to advance!

  • Girls 11/12U Club Season | At the 11U level, we offer our entry level club team program, which competes locally from November to late April/early May with 2 practices per week and weekend tournaments. This is considered our “Regional” program and is a great introduction to the club volleyball experience! At 12U, we offer both a Regional and an “Elite”, or travel team option, for our more advanced players. The 12U Elite program will run November through June, practicing 2x per week, and will compete in local tournaments as well as 2 overnight/travel events, with the season culminating at AAU Nationals in June. 12U Regional will mirror the 11U Regional program, but will include one overnight weekend travel tournament. For further details click here, or email our Youth Program Director, Eunice An, for more info.

  • Boys 12U Club Season | The entry level for our boys team-based programs. We offer 12U boys options in two seasons each year-- Sept to Feb and March-June. For more info click here, or contact our Boys Middle School Director, Blake Orlov, for additional details.

Below you will find registration links for all of our current options. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Youth Director at eunice@modvolleyball.com.
