CO-ED |K-4th Grade

 

MOD Minis Winter Round 2 (K-4th Grade)

Designed to teach BOYS & GIRLS the FUNdamentals of volleyball. Through drills using ladders, large volleyballs, and kid friendly equipment to train, kids will increase foot speed, develop hand-eye coordination, and grow in their social skills. This is where we spark the first love of volleyball!

  • Dates: Wednesdays April 15, 22, 29 and May 6, 13, 20, 27
  • Location: NSSC- Northbrook
  • Time: 4:15PM-5:30PM
  • Cost: $265 (not including processing fees), Cost $295 after March 31st

Spring co-ed Team Training round 1 (3rd/4th) 

This program bridges the gap between our MOD Minis programming (introductory training) and our 11/12U club seasons, providing a balanced curriculum that continues to develop the essential skills while preparing athletes for the fast-paced competition and structure of a full club season. The first section of practice athletes will learn a new skill. The last portion will be a fun variety of game play! In order to register for this session, you must first participate in our MOD Minis program OR reach out to eunice@modvolleyball.com for approval – this ensures that each participant is up to speed on all introductory concepts before we tackle new material. Our Coed Team Training is a recurring series and we’ll have sessions available throughout the year!

Team In Training – Spring Round 1

This program mirrors our club team practice curriculum, focusing on team-based drills and match-play scenarios. Each session includes skill work, agility/conditioning and play. Play focuses on multiple contacts in mostly small sided situations. Team in Training is a great fit for both beginners and those looking to raise their current skills.

  • Dates: Mondays March 2, 9, 16  and April 6, 13 
  • Location: NSSC- Northbrook
  • Times:
    • 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Cost: $225 (not including processing fees)

Gameplay Clinic – Spring Round 1

Lace up and get after it! These sessions emphasize fast paced play and game-like scenarios along with some skill- building feedback and reps. Each session will cover both skill and team concepts. Team concepts covered include- freeball movement, serve receive rotations and depending on level of the group team defense. Game play is both small sided and 6v6. Game Play is the most advanced of the clinics we offer but is still appropriate to younger athletes newer to the game.

All-Skills Clinic –Spring Round 1

This offering provides tons of reps across each of the essential volleyball skills. Athletes will also play in both small group and full court games. Skills is a great opportunity to learn more about and practice the individual skills of serving, passing, setting, attacking and digging. Skills is the most basic clinic that we offer and perfect for beginners and those still developing their skills.

  • Dates: Fridays March 6, 13 and April 3, 17

  • Times
    • 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Cost: $150 (not including processing fees)

Boys | 5th – 8th Grade

Chicago Icemen Clinic

This exclusive MOD x Chicago Icemen clinic offers middle school and high school boys the opportunity to train directly

with current professional men’s volleyball athletes and hear firsthand what it takes to continue playing the sport beyond high school and college.

All sessions are planned and led by players from the Chicago Icemen, combining high-level on-court training with an open Q&A focused on professional pathways, international opportunities, and long-term involvement in the game.

IHSA Tryout Prep led by Loyola U Chicago Staff

 

Join us for high-impact training sessions planned and led by the NCAA Division I men's volleyball coaches from Loyola Chicago. Open to High School boys (all skill levels and positions), this program offers quality instruction in a competitive, high-rep environment. Athletes will be grouped by position and skill level to maximize development while focusing on: Serve Receive, Out-of-System Attacking, Serving, Offensive Systems with Setters & Attackers, & Game Play.

Private Lessons

Looking for some additional court time to supplement your training? Private Lessons offer a great opportunity to elevate your level of play through specific skill work and drills! These sessions are open to ALL athletes, but depend on trainer and facility space availability.
